Zacarias Pono

After working 40 years in the aerospace and nuclear industry, I moved to Big Bear Lake and opened two businesses that I ran for fifteen years. After I sold my businesses, I went to work for Spencer Real Estate as a real estate agent for about ten years. After Spencer Real Estate closed down, I joined Premiere Properties Sotheby’s and stayed during the transition into a new ownership which ended up creating Wheeler Steffen Sotheby’s International Realty. All-in-all, I have been a real estate agent for approximately fifteen years and still going strong.

I take much joy in being a part of my grandchildren’s lives, fishing, gardening, and also taking trips with my family to Las Vegas. Because I try to live a peaceful and relaxing life, I choose to live in Big Bear. Something about the community, the mountains, and the lake, I find really peaceful. This is truly a wonderful place to live.

The motto that always follows me is “treat people the way you would like to be treated.” I am a very honest man, and I will get the job done.
